We're a local, family-owned transportation service dedicated to making life easier for George Washington Academy families in St. George.As Parents ourselves, we know how valuable your time is. Between work, family responsibilities, and everything else on your plate, spending hours each week in the school pickup line isn't how you want to spend your day.That's why we created Rise & Ride - to give you back your time while providing your children with safe, reliable, and consistent transportation to and from school.Every morning, we pick up your student at a convenient neighborhood location (usually your local LDS church building) and deliver them safely to GWA. Every afternoon, we bring them home. Same time, same place, every school day.No more waiting in long car lines. No more rushing out of work early. OUR STORY
Rise & Ride was born from a simple observation: GWA parents were spending hours every week in pickup and dropoff lines, time that could be better spent with family, at work, or simply taking care of life's daily demands.As parents ourselves living in Washington, we experienced this frustration firsthand. We watched as the car line stretched longer each year. We talked with other parents who were stressed, rushed, and tired of the daily grind.We knew there had to be a better solution.That's when the idea for Rise & Ride was born - a professional, reliable transportation service designed specifically for GWA families, using convenient neighborhood pickup points that make parents' lives easier while keeping children safe.We spent months planning routes, obtaining proper licensing and insurance, and building relationships with local churches and community organizations to create the perfect pickup locations.In March 2026, we're launching Rise & Ride with one simple goal: to make life easier for St. George families while providing children with the safe, consistent transportation they deserve.We're not just starting a business - we're building a service that we would want for our own children.
